Care

Though the Sword Plant is a hearty one, there are some general care needs that should be fulfilled to ensure the success of your new plant. First be sure to remove all dead leaves when you first purchase the plant. Don't worry if as a result you end up removing MOST of the leaves as they WILL grow back. Removing any excessive dead plant matter will allow the plant to focus one growing fresh, new leaves that will provide optimal conditions and surface area to thrive. Your fish will provide all the "fertilizer" you will need for it; but be certain you have adequate lighting
